While we work for a health care system that covers everyone, these clinics may help people find necessary medical care in our broken system.


Equal Access  ClinicFREE health care on Mondays, Tuesday, & Thursdays

Services:  Primary care and referrals, psychological and social work consults; run by medical students; medical staff present

Mondays 6-9 PM:  First 10 patients are seen at the Mobile Outreach Clinic (Tower Road Library- 3020 SW 75th Street).

Tuesdays 5:30 PM:  First 5-8 patients are seen at Gainesville Community Ministries (238 SW 4th Ave).

Thursdays  5:30 -9:30 PM:  First 15 patients are seen at the Family Clinic  (1702 N. Main Street).


Mobile Outreach Clinic: Health care offered on a sliding scale price; schedule varies

Services:   Primary care and referrals. This is a mobile clinic that travels to under-served neighborhoods in Gainesville and High Springs.

Helping Hands Clinic for Homeless: Free health care on Mondays at 5 PM

Services:  Primary medical and social work services. Referrals and funding for eye exams and glasses; psychiatric care alternate Mondays

RAHMA (Relief and Assistance for Humanity by Muslim Americans):  Free health care on Saturdays for the uninsured

Services:  Primary and preventive care; must be uninsured with income level below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line

Saturdays 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM:  5220 SW 13th St.


Alachua County Health Department:  Reduced-price health care weekdays in Gainesville & Alachua; fees & eligibility depend on service

Services:  Primary adult and pediatric care; screenings and immunizations

Gainesville, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM  – 4:00 PM:  Located at 224 SE 24th Street, Gainesville

Alachua, M,T,Th,F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM:   15530 NW Rte 441, Alachua (Hitchcock’s Shopping Ctr)


We Care Network:  Specialist care by volunteer physicians; must be referred (except for dental)

Services:  Specialist care for low-income & uninsured people; must be referred (except for dental)

Located at the Alachua County Health Department (224 SE 24th Street, Gainesville) & operated by  AC Medical Society and ACHD.

ACORN (Alachua County Organization for Rural Needs); Health care offered weekdays at sliding scale prices in Alachua, Bradford, and Columbia Counties

Services:  Various, offered by volunteer physicians (including some specialists), nurses, pharmacists and counselors.

Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and some Tuesday evenings
